sup guys.  im planning on replacing my system in my explorer.  im probably gonna get 1 15" crossfire bmf's and a 1000d amp.  4 gauge wire, and a ported box.  I know people's definitions of "shove" are different, but is this going to be really loud.  The guy at my local shop said that it would be extremely loud and "out of control" which is what i'm looking for.  I'm looking to retain a little SQ as well though.  Any comments or suggestions?

My guess is you will need an alternator upgrade, but I am sure that system will "shove" you around a little.

ok thanks for the replies fellas.  dwarren, do u think a cap will be enough?  also, about how much would an alternator upgrade be?  i have no idea how much it is to do that, or where to do that.  Would i be better off buying something more efficient maybe?  jdog feel free to chime in as well.
