Hello,

I am reinstalling a 551R Valet remote start into my 05 Canyon, I am using the 555L to interface the passlock system.

I have a question concerning hookup of the 555L, I was given document 1610 to use as a guide to install the 555L and am being told its the same as the Ion.

My question is 1610 shows the black lead from the 555L being grounded, I believe this is a typo shouldn't this wire be connected to the WHITE/ blck reference wire in the ign switch harness?

Is there someone familiar with this application that could help me answer this question?

Paul
