Capacitor, 24v?

Okay I need a nice size cap for my car and I was wondering why alot of them say 24V?????I need like 5 farid or so... Jay

Even though I can't ever understand a single post from blowntweeters, (try some punctuation once in a while) IF I caught what he said in this last post, a better battery will serve you much better than ANY cap ever will, but not by itself. Take the 200 bucks a 5 Farad cap will cost you, and apply it towards an alternator. Don't forget your underhood wiring as well. Generally speaking, a cap is only a bandaid, but one that lets the infection continue - it'll never heel...It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice.
