I'm installing just a plain cd deck to my friends Corolla. He told me before of something happening that I am not sure of, but it blew out the center light, the clock, and the lighter.  I figured it would be the fuses so I replaced the dome and lighter fuse and it now works.  The clock stil doesn't work.  So I hooked up the battery, ground, and ignition from the car to the deck.  Turned the ignition and the cd deck doesn't turn on.  I tried checking every fuse, but it all seems fine.  Is it not turning on because of the fuse from the clock????... or something else in mind... I couldn't figure out any other possibility so if anybody can help please suggest any other troubleshooting methods... thanks

Did you use an aftermarket harness for this install?? Or did you hack the factory harness in the vehicle??

Check all of your connections, in this vehicle, This is the reason aftermarket harnesses make the install alot easier. Also check under the hood, I don't know about this vehicle right off, but most Toyota's in general, have a fuse box under the hood. Check in there for a radio fuse. There is usually one inside the car and one under the hood on Toyota.

Here is the wiring diagram to help ensure you have made the correct connections.
