this has to be the dumbest question ever, but how do i know if i have a factory alarm? 2002 dodge ram

hi,

place key in ignition, turn on, roll the drivers window down, turn off key and remove, press lock button on remote or lock button on door with door open, shut door, wait 30 sec or so...maybe longer, reach in window opening and open door. if horn sounds , lights flash, you have an alarm.
