I run all 8-12's inverted. It looks cool, It makes it easyer to wire up the subs, as Steven said no grills to worry about. Does it sound any better? I don't know. Never had them install the regular way. The old planet audio 15's I used to run did sound better inverted. So I guess it would be a toss up. Sound is in the ear of the listener.

im not sure how old this post is but i was reading up for my new project.
i got 2 15" audiobahn with sick looking magnet and flame cone.
but i was wondering. if you dont have to compensate for the volume of the sub if its inverted can i just build the box to specs without sub in it?
i want to do a wedge style box (sub mounting surface on angle.) inverted.
or could i just build a box big enough to hold both of them and slap the subs in "inverted"
thanks
