Hooking up a bypass kit to an audiovox aps-996a alarm/remote start and the gm-u.7 wants a "ground when running" - input on its blue wire. I have looked high and low for the source of this on my alarm and cannot find it...any suggestions?

On the 996a there should be a Light blue Ignition 3 output.
It should provide a "300ma ground output 3 seconds before remote start, ground while running, and 4 seconds after the remote start turns off/shut down"
Use this wire. Should work fine with no programming required..
