yeah think it is BLACK/ red wire all the imob is on the rovers is to cut out the starter circuit so if you dont manage to bypass the control unit just do it at the starter relay so it is possible to crank the car

cool i thought it was on the fuel pump. ahh well thats what he said.

any ideas on his locking apparently the one brain controls alarm and central locking..

well the rover systems i have done have just been the starter circuit and yes it is one control unit that does the door locks aswell if you cant get it to work just chop the central lock wires and make your own relays for it it is quite an easy system let me know how you get on

ok he tried to get the code from rover with no luck.

i know the motor wires are pink and orange and then you will have the switch wires going to the master solonoid in the drivers door cant remember the other colours think it was BLACK/ pink , BLACK/ red , black im sure it was neg control,

so all i would do is the 2 relay setup relay 1 = motor wire pin 30 , 12v + pin 87 and 86 and switch wire to pin 85 and neg - to pin 87a

relay 2 = motor wire pin 30 , 12v+ pin 87 and 86 , switch wire to pin 85 and neg to pin 87a

hope this helps get all the wiring at the control unit it is easyer to tap into
