I took out the side trunk liner and as you can see put down foil and duct tape for the rear of the mold

It looks very good so far.
Question though: Why did you cut the mold back so far? Do you want ti to stick out that much?
I guess it's just personal opinion, but I like to have the ring stick out only a little bit so that it almost looks flush mounted. This gives you a bit more airspace too.
ANyways, it looks GREAT!

That looks sweet. I love the shape of the box it is very diferent from what I am use to seeing.

Thanks guys.  It sounds great.  To be honest I didn't really pay any attention to Infinity's specs for the enclosure.  I was just trying to see if I could pull it off.  It was my first time.  But I tood it in and they said I performed exactly like it should according to there meter or whatever.  I think it could use a little bit more power though, but it's very tight and clean. 

Poormanq,  I really didn't cut but about 1/4 inch off to get a straight line,  it kinda is a visual illusion.  I could however have made the ring sit in closer and not stick out so far, but I would have lost  volume, and at the very least I knew I didn't want to do that.
