this is a little off topic from fiberglassing, but for a better understanding on airspace, and reasoning for strong enclosures, and basically anything to do with car audio, check out http://www.bcae1.com

Home Depot and Lowes should sell resin. I got my first gallon from Lowes then I bought another gallon from auto zone. In fact I bought all my fiberglass cloth from wal-mart. I just bought a whole bunch of those little bags they sell.

YEp, go to walmart for the fiberglass mat/cloth, and check your local boater's shop for the resin. THey normally sell a gallon for ~$29 out the door. THat's $5 cheaper then both lowes and Home Depot

Another good source for fiberglass mat is Ebay. I got a roll of mat 50 yards long x 36" wide for $50 plus $25 shipping. It is finish grade, not sure what oz. but I cut it up into different sized pieces in odd shapes and sizes and use it for my layups. It has worked out to be a cheap method as opposed to spending $10 on a bag of mat from Walmart. For resin I find Walmart to be cheap and convienient.

Good Luck with your projects!

In a world full of copycats, it's great to be an original!
