This should be a quick and dirty answer for some of you.
I want to know if I can put a switch on the blue sensing wire between my HU and the amp so I can use my radio without the amp/sub.
If anyone is wondering WHY I'd do this, it's because the sub sits under my toddler's car seat (I have a Dodge Ram Quad cab) and I dont want to rattle her out of her seat when she's in the car.
So, is it safe to put a simple switch between the HU and the amp on the sensing wire?
Thanks!!

Done it, and never had a problem with it.

Great...I figured it'd be easy to do it this way than to put a switch with 8gauge terminals in my dash. =)
Thanks, all!
