is there anyway to install a shock sensor

I have my alarm that came with my hyundai elantra. its the stock one is there any way to hook a shock sensor to it it doesnt have any signal imput can i just hook it to like the doom light or hood pin switch just wondering.

unfortunaly no, but who wants to use a factory alarm in the first place, aftermarket alarms are sooooo much better ;P

Couldn't you hook up a shock sensor and use the trigger to pulse the door trigger and make the factory alarm think the doors are open? Then maybe have a relay wired so that when the factory alarm is disabled (unlock) it would break the power connection to the shock.
Sounds like more trouble than it is worth, but I think it could be done with some creativity and a hand full of relays.

Not worth the trouble. For the labor and all other crap involved you may as well stab in an aftermarket alarm.

it can be done using the door trigger but i'd go with a new alarm.
