i found out the trunk trigger is -12 for the maxima from the digrams provided on this site. I can't remember if the Viper 600ESP outputs 12+ or 12- on the 3rd channel. if its 12+, how do i wire a relay to send a 12- signal? if its 12- from channel 3, do i still need a relay? if so how would i wire that?
thanks

I'm sure its a (-) output.

86  -  alarm output

85  - constant 12V

30  -  solid Chassis Ground

87 - (-) to solenoid

Trunk/Hatch Release purple / YELLOW    -   low drivers kick
NISSAN, MAXIMA, 1996, Trunk/Hatch Release
Must use a relay to interface with this circuit.
WHITE/ Blue is a low current 200 mA negative output wire on the unit. Follow Powermyster direction for the relay connection and you are all set.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.96 maxima and trunk release - Last Post -- posted image.
