'04 Camry Trunk Release

how do i wire a 5wi conection for trunk release in an '04 Camry. i know the wire and the location according to directwires. any help would be greatly appreciated

the trnk line must be cut in half and interrupt w/ a 5wire relay.
85- trunk oupt from alarm unit
86- 12volt constant
30- 12v constant
87a- objective wire goin toward the dash
87- objective wire goin toward the trunk popper

you need to also trigger the trunk key sence wire with the trunk trigger BEFORE the relay. otherwise the factory security (if it has it) will go off. Its the green and white wire just below the blue/white trunk pop wire. grab on to your trunk pop trigger in front of the relay and diode isolate, cathode facing your alarm.

KarTuneMan's tip is correct.
Factory alarm is standard only on the XLE "luxury" model.
LE, SE, and base don't have the alarm from the factory.
You might encounter a dealer-installed Toyota VIP alarm one some of these; I'm not sure if it will have the key-cylinder-disarm wire though.
