Hi,

When installing an alarm does it matter if the yellow wire from the alarm goes to acc or ignition wire on the car?

will the alarm get confused when the acc wire goes dead during start up?

i have used the ignition wire before

please help.

You have to use ignition...acc. doesn't keep power during crank. Therefore the car will still start.

If you are using it for starter kill, then yes, you must use ignition, if you are using it for just the ignition input to the alarm, for programming, etc.  you should be able to get away with acc, but I have no idea why you can't just use ign.
