i installed 2 rear monitors and hooked them up to my iva-d900. the only problem is the monitors are not clear. the picture is to fuzzy. its like the picture is running of the screen. the monitors i have dont have a yellow rca for video. all they have are 4 wires.(red, black, yellow, green) i hooked red to 12vdc constant, black to ground, then i cut a video rca and stripped the wires. i hooked yellow to the solid wire that is insulated in the middle, and green to the wire that that looks to be wrapped around the insulated wire. is there a better way to hook up these monitors?
PS: when one screen is hooked up it is fine but when i hooked them both up(to the same rca) the picture starts running. why is this happening?

you need an amp for your video signal, around $20

the video signal is not stong enough for two monitors, tha amp should fix your problem

they should be wired right, if they turn on and you get video on both

an rca splitter isnt going to fix the fuzzines problem. the video amplifier will amplify the video signal so that it is powerful enough for both monitors. it will require an rca input, then it will have an rca output that will go to your monitors. if you do not have any rca inputs, you will need to probably rig one up (the 900 doesnt have an rca output?). im unfamilair with the equipment specs that your using, but maybe somebody else can help you with the hardwiring and exact details

the iva-d900 has rca inputs and outputs.  its the monitors that dont.  all they have are 4 wires (red, black, yellow, green).  i am just looking for the best way to hook them up to the 900's brain.

kinda like when you dont have rca preouts on a factory head unit, they make an adapter you hook up the speaker wires to and it converts the signal to an rca output.

do they have anything like this for video?  i am wondering the best way to convert the 4 wires on the monitor to rca.  what is the purpose for each wire?

red :  12vdc constant

black :  ground

green  ?????

yellow  ?????
