For the engine to run correctly you have should the appropriate ecu. The k's ecu's are competely different then the p2p ecu from a ek civic.

It sounds like he is taking the motor from a rsx or civic si and putting it into civic that is older and completely different. It is a different engine, different sensors, different vtec system, completely different engine. Supposedly the only ecus that don't have immobilizers built in are available in the japanese version of the ecu.
I don't know how much you know about hondas so I don't know what needs to be explained but the k series engines can't use older ecus for d series or b series engines.

Also I see 2 downfalls, first you need an rsx to code the bypass. Second after you program it you need to trasnfer it to the vehicle it will go into ie erasing the code. I'll think about something.

No shut up from me. They say that you don't know every thing until after you die ( maybe ). I will learn something from this myself and am planning a similer swap in about 6 weeks ( v6 into a Civic ).

Ok, that is insane. Are you putting it under the hood or going to convert to rear engine rear wheel drive? I can say I haven't really heard much if anything on this swap.
