As for godshandkiller good luck with your project just remember your starting your car at your own risk and maybe others around you so starting it in a crowded area is probably not a good idea again good luck

Basically that is all everyone on this forum is saying to other member's about putting a auto system into a manual vehicle, just not in the same words that you did. In the end, I would not want to be the one responsible for telling someone how to bypass an automatic remote start to be used in a manual transmission vehicle for fear of someone getting hurt. Property damage can be fixed but someone's life is not.

i agree, putting a auto car starter in a manual car isn't the safest thing to do...a friend of mine bought a 5 spd car that someone installed an auto car starter for an automatic and one day he left it in gear and forgot, then in the morn he started his car and it ran into his barn...$600 in damage to the front of his car. all the car starters i've installed (autostart) need to have different inputs for each (automatic or manual) the ones for manuals need to be tied into the door pins and parking brake, not to mention the clutch bypass. it is possible to jerry rig it but i'd hate to be him if he ever forgot it in gear and trie dto start it and he hit someone. his best bet (for safty ) is to go buy one meant for a manual,  and take out the old one, put it on ebay and sell it to get his part of his money back..spending an extra $50 for a new one sounds better then being sued for killing or injuring someone
