95 blazer speaker mounting?

i have a 95 s-10 blazer 4door, i already know where im mounting everything. my ? is on this blazer the spkrs mount on a plastic spacer i wanted to know if it was a good idea to put abs plastic to make that into a sealed enclosure on all doors. the speakers im putting in are mtx txc6.1 comp up front and mtx 6001 comp on rears.

you can do that if you want. if i remember there isnt alot of room in there with the speaker if youd seal it up. you can try putting some poly fill in there and see how it sounds.
