No, the Anti-Grind function is an internal control that sends out the Ground When Armed signal when the remote start / takeover is engaged.  If disabled, then Ground When Armed will ONLY be Ground When Armed, and the Starter Kill will function properly, as well as make your windows go up when the vehicle is armed.  You can also install a switch in between the alarm and window module to interrupt the Ground When Armed wire if you would like the option to leave the windows down wjile armed, or if you have an extra channel, a relay to interrupt it with a latched input from Channel Four or Five, though that's a pretty big waste of a channel.

does turning of antigrind turn off starterkill also?  if not then what i was thinking is take the H3/1(blue/white), the wire that turns oin the rear defogger, and tapping it into the Remote start primary harness wire #7 the antigrind/grnd when armed, then turning off the antigrind on the system. wouldnt that still turnon the antigrind relay?

so would this plan work ?

Yes, you could connect a status output wire to the Ground When Armed input wire at the relay satellite to activate your own Anti-Grind without affecting the main Ground When Armed function.  BUT, you will need to leave it connected to preserve the Starter Kill feature AND diode-isolate that connection by cutting the Ground When Armed input to the relay satellite, instaling a diode with the cathode (striped end) facing the alarm brain and connecting your status output on the relay satellite side of the diode, otherwise the ground will backfeed and trigger the main Ground When Armed circuit or worse...

Regular sized relays SHOULD be available at Radio Shack, as well as the diodes, which can be as small as 1 amp.  The type I use for this type of application are just small enough to fit INSIDE the end of a RED (18-22 ga.) butt connector.
