. I have taken the trim off of the ignition switch and there lies the heart of the transponder system. On a seperate connector is a 2 pin connectector. There are 2 wires that seemingly control the whole deal (that sends the output from the circuit board inside the trim). There is an orange wire and a white wire. The white wire will not respond even if the key is next to it if I have a ground on it (i.e. test light). The orange wire is impartial to having a ground. I have tried disconnecting one of the wires (no luck), I have tried connecting the two wires (no luck as well). Neither of the wires show a power signal, even when the key is on, or the engine is cranking. My only other thought would be to connect the white wire to a constant 12v, but I worry of the consequenses. Anyone that thinks they can help with wiring advice please reply. Thanks.
