If anyone can help me out. Put a nav in a 05 Dodge Magnum and could not find VSS wire. Nav is now having problems and I put 2 magnets on and still not working. Anyone know wire color and location?

Help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.............G.................

Vss is on the Can-Bus

recommended parts to generate a speed pulse:  VDO:  MA-3400

                                                                            Alpine:  NVE-K300

                                                                            Pioneer:  ND-PG12

                                                                            Kenwood:  KNA-PG100

This came from Eclipse tech support.  Good Luck

You can also use the CANPULSE2 from SoundGate. You tie into the CAN BUS wires and this will give you the analog speed sense signal you need. They are cheaper than the speed pulse generators and easier to install.
