I have a Rockford Fosgate T112D2 sub and a Rockford 601s amp. The amp is 300x2 at 2 ohms or 600x1 bridged at 4 ohms. I was wondering if I should should have the amp bridged and connect the sub in series so everything is running at 4 ohms or if I should hook up each channel to each voice coil of the sub.
Thanks.

You can see by the specs that the power output is the same either way.  The difference is:  one way is stereo and the other is mono.  Since it's a subwoofer, and the tones played will be in the mono region, use the most common method:  bridging.  Playing two coils of a subwoofer in stereo would make no sense at all.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Yeah, that does make sense. I guess I never thought about it like that.
