Twin Sub FG Box -- posted image.
This is the frame, still needs to be rounded off. On the left the sub will be facing you but angled up a bit. The sub on the right will be facing to the left angled up also. Im just waiting for the rings to come in that i ordered. Any suggestions on what you guys would have done? What you would do next? Should i add a port or keep the thing air tight inside?

Is that particle board??? why didn't you use MDF? I'll be honest and tell you that I am having a little bit of trouble figuring out what you are making Twin Sub FG Box -- posted image. I think it will become more clearer when you add the rings and the fleece. Off to a good start as of now though; I can see you got your braces in there.

No, I was probably the only one who couldn't see it. Just be sure to post pics when you get the rings in and stretch the fleece. I really am looking forward to seeing what it is I am looking at. I guess it's just the resolution on your camera or the way it loaded that makes it look like particle board.

if you have the time maybe you can draw some rings in your picture witha paint program, to give an idea of what you are tryin to do.

That really doesn't look like MDF, make sure you have the right stuff before you get too far, because if particle board gets wet it will swell and then fall to pieces. It is also not nearly as strong as MDF so be careful if this structure needs to be pretty solid.

thats definately particle board...if it was the resolution on the camera the piece of paper would look like it was made of paper chunks and everything else would be unrecognizeable.  If the guy at the store told u that was MDF u should get him fired. It looks like he inteds to fleece the entire project when he gets the speaker rings wich will mean that both subs are not divided and they share the same port, or i could be wrong and the big base piece is for a flat floor or something.  If u want some advice and can handle some criticising than good on u and you'll end up with a better quality project in the end, if u read these and take them as flames and leave the forum then u wont learn and will continue building half-*** projects (not saying its half ass yet except for the particle board as i dont yet understand fully how the box will be going together.  What is this going in?  i would get rid of the port and just make the boxes sealed though untill u get some more knowledge on building ported boxes.
