Yea, I'm thinking faulty module all along.  I didn't get the car tonight, but I'm feeling that the "starter" relay inside the module has seen better days.  I have a spare module handy, I guess if I can't pull an intelegible fault code from the module I'll swap em.

On a side note, I'm not an "installer" and I bought these things on Ebay.  What are the chances of getting the faulty one warrantied if I didn't even fill out the warranty "validation" cert?

So, I finally had the time to do some more troubleshooting and it turned out to be the module itself.  I believe the starter relay, or the logic circuitry that controls it (inside the 130xv) became faulty.  I swapped it out with a spare I had laying around and it worked immediately.

Now I have to try to get the faulty one warrantied.  It's been less than a year so it shouldn't be a problem.  Can someone point me in the right direction of how to go about a warranty claim?  DEI only wants to talk to installers it seems and I purchased these units privately and installed it myself.  I have  a lot of experience with electronics - but DEI could care less it seems.
