Hey guys what's up. My buddy wants me to check out a problem he's having with his car. I havent taken a look at it yet but from what i know is it's mid to late 90's Cadilac Presidental and he does not believe its a bose system. Everything is stock and like i said , i asked him if it was bose and he said he is 99% sure its not. Anyway wihout getting a chance to take a look at yet i was wondering if you guys knew what might cause two speakers(rear) to only put out bass and the problem started at the same time with both speakers. His fronts are fine, just the rears...any guesses?

If it has always been this way, there is a crossover somewhere in the system.  If it was normal full-range for a while and then it changed by itself, the speakers or the head unit amplifier blew.
