Dome light illumination (optional)

The instructions for my Crimestopper said very little about the optional dome light wire. It provides 30 seconds of (-) upon disarm and the schematic shows it connected to 86 on a relay, but that's it. No complete circuit is shown. The door switches are (+).   Can I run the hot wire from the NO and solder it to the same spot I have the alarm door trigger (+) wire attached?

86  -  neg alarm output

85  -   constant 12V+

30  -   constant 12V+

87  -   door trigger( if door trigger is indded positive)
