He used an oven to bake the paint at I thing somewhere around 120 F.. Then he wiped the surface dry with a clean rag to remove the loose paint and excess water. I have messed around with this many years ago and remember how to do it a little. If you need further clarification please let me know.

Why do you ask if I ate paint chips when I was younger?
