Take the battery out and get it tested.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I would make sure the amp isn't staying on. Is the remote power wire on the amp hooked up to a key on position somewhere in your system? Amp might have  killed your battery and sometimes they don't like to come back from the dead, especially if the battery is a few years old.

Chances are you battery was at the end of its life, and during the install when you had the doors open and the dome lights on they drained your battery too beyond its life and now you have a dead cell.    It would have happened sooner or later with the stereo.

Orrrr.... if your battery is fine theres a problem with the alternator, or wires/connections in between

it is most likley your batter from draining it to low and there is no way to bring that back you jsut have to go get a new one, but as long as u are gettin a new batter why not get one that is used in car audio, go get urself an optima yellow top if you need a new battery, it might cost a little more but i like them.

chances are that it is the battery, so if you get a new one, go with the optima yellow top, they cost a little more but i think it is worth it
