i have seen some real time dyno results with one of those wire kits, about 1hp increase. Because the stock grounding on the engine was so lousy it caused the computer to read the codes slower, upgradeing the ground made that little difference.  Im certain just the big 3 would do that same gain however.

That was kinda my impression too - just doing the Big 3 would be more than enough to balance out the ground. Would this also help with eliminating the static charge that sometimes will "zap" you when you get out of the vehicle? That's why I was wondering about the ground strap and if it would be necessary.

In NO WAY was I looking for the grounding kit to do ANYTHING in regards to hp or mpg, etc. And no reacharounds, either. Sorry haemphyst Grounding kit or ground/discharge strap? - Page 2 -- posted image.Grounding kit or ground/discharge strap? - Page 2 -- posted image.

Oh, well. But no, it won't fix the static shock issue you might be experiencing.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I wouldnt pay that for a ground kit if it was me. What I did was picked up some 2 guage wire and terminals from my dads work and went through it all. Now it wasnt the easiest thing to do, but it is definately worth the trouble. I also picked up a yellowtop while I was at it, since my battery was three years old.
