LOL i have read most of the forums related to this alarm system and im just trying to reference the info to my vehicle.  OK  my jimmy already has factory  keyless entry and back hatch keyless it has 4 doors and no panic button or anything i was just wondering if i need a bypass for it and were i could get one if i do.  One other thing i know the confusion about the oil senser and i have read that it is easier just to hook that wire to the alternater power wire or is it the alternater light wire behind the dash and if so what color is it. i think i have some factory wireing diagrams for my jimmy but if someone knows were i might find some different ones im always game.

Lets start over. First tell us what you are tring to do. Is the pd-175 already installed? If so are you adding something to it? I tried to find a manual online to check on your oil sensor and alternator connections. I dont think you need to connect the system (even if it has remote-start) to the alternator or oil sending unit. I couldnt think of a reason to use the oil sender. The possible use of the alternator would be voltage sense for a remote-start and would be connected to the charge terminal (not recomended). Allways use tach sense when possible.

this is a new install of the pd-175. it does not have a remote start on it but it does have the factory keyless entry my main question is do i need something to over ride or jumper the factory keyless entry or what. the other question is a good wiring diagram for the 97 jimmy 4dr . i did find one along time ago but not sure.
