Hey guys,
About a year ago I installed an Autopage RS720lcd in my 2001 Chevy Suburban. Now that vehicle is getting traded in for a 2006 GMC Denali XL, and I'd like to move the remote starter/alarm over to the new vehicle. Does anyone have any experience installing on a 05/06 Denali? What differences will I see? Does it still use the Passlock II system, or something new? Also, would anyone have the wiring colors and locations for the starter and alarm portion of the install for a Denali? Any words of wisdom?
Thanks guys,
Dan

All the parts from you're old alarm will transfer over.  Your also going to need a databus interface for the doorlocks.  would be a 456g.  Never dealt with the system you're talking about so I can't be much help there, but if you got it into the silverado the yukon is for the most part the same.

Dan, I would go and get a new bypass module for the Passlock system. For one reason, the new Passlock II bypasses will also have other features that can be used by the user like Lock/Unlock, Driver's Priority Unlock, Trunk/Hatch, OEM Security Arm/Disarm, Door trigger Output (-) & Override the 2nd /3rd generation GM Passkey3 Transponder Immobilizer & Passlock 2 Immobilizer via data bus. Some of the newest versions also have tach wire output, the defroster, the parking light output, heated seats & mirrors as well as RAP shutdown. This makes the installion way easier and worth the extra couple of bucks in the end.

Jeff,
Thanks a lot for the reply. Do you know which bypass module has all the features you listed, including the parking light, heated seats, etc? Would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

The CAN SL ( Can Bus Bypass )

Can you confirm that my 06 Denali has the CAN bus? Also, is there any place I can order it now, or do I have to wait until the 17th?

Thanks,

Dan
