i was going buy the specs you gave of 1141 RMS @ 4 ohms. sell that sub for $400 then. and if your bro works for JBL get a JBL at that runs 1100 or more @ 4 ohms. and an isolater is so the two differant batterys don't make each other discharge. with just the HC 600 kinetik battery and the big 3 wire upgrade.that should solve your eletrical problem. also can you get more than 1 JBL amp for a discounted price ? what H/U are you running ?

you can get an isolater at www.partsexpress.com you might want to get 2 amps that run like 600 to 650 RMS @ 2 ohms.

Well, my uncle cold all the batteries whole sale at $40 a piece! I was so mad! He has some "Power Source" Batteries laying around. They' look similar to the kinetiks. If I'm ordering tonight... Should i get One BPX1100.1, Two BPX500.1's or Two BPX600.2's and bridge that mofo?

what is the rated RMS power of the BPX 1100.1 @ 4 ohms ? that really sucks about the kinetik battery . i was gonna see if i could buy 2 of them from you. and for the amps if you can get the same power at 4 ohms from the BPX 1100.1 as you would from 2 of the other amps @ 2 ohms i would go with the 1100.1. running at 2 ohms is much better for SQ and your amp componets.

BPX1100.1

1141 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms,

14.4V supply and ¡Ü 1% THD + N

I'll just get that one. Now, for the box, I dunno what to get? Either Invert both subs (but that wont be as loud at ported), or do a slot port enclosure. Will the SQ be better in the Invert or will it be the same as the slot port? I'm gettin a pro-shop building me a custom box for $150 (basically i can do whatever i want for $150)... ANy idea are welcome!!!

sealed would be the best for SQ. slot ported will be the best for SPL. if you want ot invert the subs i would go with sealed . with those subs i can't see trying to get real great SQ. i would go slot ported my self about 4.5 to 5 cubes i would go no less than 2 cubes per sub. and basiclly the bigger you go the more SPL your going to get. running that amp at 4 ohms is really going to do the most for your SQ.

Sounds like prted it is! Ok, so the final decision is:

JBL BPX1100.1 Amp - 1141 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms

Audiobahn DUB1200's - 700W RMS Wired in a series/parallel to gte 4 ohm impendence

Slot Prted Box with at least 4 -5 cu.ft.

Thanks for your help... I'll tell ya how it works out when all my stuff gets installed! It takes like 2 weeks for that JBL stuff to get here so I'll have to wait a while... THANKS AGAIN
