Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth Mute Speaker Output

I just installed a CK-7W into my '03 4Runner.  With the factory stereo (which is "non JBL") I found out how to mute the stereo for in/outbound calls.  For those who wish to do this, email me and I will share. 

However, I would like to get the audio output directed to my front speakers instead of the stock speaker that comes with the Nokia kit.  I have a wire that plugs into the speaker out of the Nokia, that I spliced and connected to the right front speaker and it works - the stereo is muted on a call, and I can hear conversation out of the right front speaker.  However, the sound level is not sufficient for when I am driving.  Anyone know of an amp or something that would increase the volume of the stereo?

Also, does anyone know of any decent auto stereo/CD systems that support both the mute and audio output via speakers function?  I went to about five different "audio specialists" stores, and they looked at me like I was speaking French.  They had no idea what I was referring to and had never heard of these features. 

I know Blaupunkt makes stereos with a specific phone mute wire, and when on a call, the display has PHONE and the CD pauses to boot.  However, no where do I see any stereos that have phone audio input.  thanks for all replies.

I was just Speaking to a distributor of mine and they said that Parrot will have a AM/FM CD bluetooth deck next year.

Internally it will mute the radio and give you caller ID on the screen along with your phone book and seperate volume control for the phone. It will have speaker level output as well as RCA front and rear. I guess CES will have some more content for this years show.

Hi there, some VDO Dayton head units have this function as do some Blaupunkt units. Otherwise you can use a 3x relay setup where you use 1 relay to turn off the head unit and the other two to disconnect the speakers from the headunit and then connect them to the speaker output from the CK-7W. We do this all the time and it works like a dream, as long as you use a small PCB style relay that has dual contacts for each speaker you connect. The specs for the relay we use are:

5 AMP DPDT

COIL CURRENT: 30MA

CONTACT RATING: 5AMP

RATED VOLTAGE: 12VDC

COIL RESISTANCE: 400OHMS

POWER CONSUMPTION:360MW

NO/NC CONTACTS
