Ever since I installed an Audiovox remote start with JDL-PK bypass, the doors seem to randomly lock themselves. First off everthing works correctly when using the remote, etc and I know it locks at 15 mph on it's own normally. But I'm talking about locking a couple/several times in a row when you hit the lock button on the remote (either the OEM remote or the Audiovox, which makes me think it's related to the JDL-PK) or just locking again (after the 15mph lock) when you are cruising down the road or sitting idling.
Anyone see this before or have any ideas?

i have had lots of problem with audiovox alarms......not the same problem but alot of different ones.....i would try to cut power going to the brain of the audiovox system and reconnect....see if that fix's anything.
Where theres is a wire there's a way.

Verify, by unhooking Door Lock wires from Audiovox.......
Also, double check plug on both units

Try using DEI 455j door lock module.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try the "reboot" of the Audiovox and disconnecting the Audiovox door lock wires too. My gut feel is that it's the JDL-PK so I may look into the DEI too, but I want to verify that it's the JDL-PK before replacig it.
