I have a few sets of the interior neon kits that come with a transformer (hooks to cigarette lighter) and two tubes. I only need to use five tubes for my set up. I would like to run a single tube off of a transformer. I know it is set up to run two tubes, but if I only run one tube will this be a problem. All three transformers are wired to a switch thru a resistor. Also, anyone know how many amps each of the transformers will pull.

No clue here, except for testing the amps. Have your negatives hooked up to the negative of the battery, negative of a multimeter set to 10A connected to the positive of the lights, and the positive of the multimeter hooked up to the battery. That'll read how many amps you're pulling.

you will not have any problems running just one ligth off of the transformer.why the resistor?
