exhaust question

ok another question... on a car if u change and put a say 4" output pipe on the end of the exhaust like a sports muffler will that make it louder and deeper or do i need extractors and all?

The primary factor which can / will change the sound of the exhaust is the resonator.
Obviously, the baffles within the muffler play a key role in the overall sound.
But, if you intend to make your vehicle sound deeper, and mellow in sound output, that is the route to go.
I have found the resonator for a Mustang 5.0 to be the best balance of tonal balance.
