Being the nice brother that I am I decided for christmas to install an alarm on my sisters 99 mazda 626. Now this will be a first time install and have been reading up on installs. I feel that I can do this. Now the only thing that I am a little confused on is the vehicle already has power door locks. How do I hook these up to the alarms? Also does anybody have a wirring digram for this car? Any other suggestions and pointers would be great. Thanks everybody.

Here's the diagram for the car:   1999 Mazda 626 Alarm Information

I'm pretty sure you can just hook up the new alarm's wiring to the door's lock/unlock wires for the keyless entry.  I think removing the existing keyless entry system (I'm assuming you mean she already has power door locks and keyless entry)....would be a tough thing to do.  I think I would just find the right wires from the diagram, and hook into them, and not use the factory keyless entry remote anymore.  I'm sure someone will butcher my reply if I'm wrong.  Just a suggestion :-)

Yep, it is a negative single wire resistor type of system. It requires chassis ground through a 1Kohm resistor on a YELLOW /GREEN wire to lock and full chassis ground to unlock. You can either hunt down a resistor or my company offers a module that has variable resistors built in for such a setup. The module is called a DLR-U. Hope this helps.

Also when hooking the siren to the alarm would I need a relay or can the alarm provide power to the siren?

None of my notes tell me to add a resistor inline of the relay to a single wire system, but you never know. Here's what I have for the 626 : The white wire will unlock the drivers door only, and the BROWN / white will unlock the other doors.  use both wires and diode isolate each. Find these wires and test to ensure the proper connection. As far as the siren goes, there will be enough current from the siren output to engage the siren without the use of a relay.

Thanks for all your help Jeff your info has been great in helping me understand this. As for hooking up the relay could you explain how to hook the wires up to which part of the relay?
