Trunk Gasket

Ok this is the low down, i have been working on a miata trunk for about 4 months, last night i went to fit it in one last time and it looked good......BUT i have forgotten all about the gasket for the trunk and my fiberglass is almost 1/2 inch thick in some spots.... can i get a gasket that is a bigger size or some form of soft somthing to seal the trunk....HELP!!!!!

noone makes bigger gaskets that I know of. best thing to do is trim some material off until the gasket fits again. Might be time consuming but you dont want water getting in there.
