Constant fuse burning

Did a honda Vtec with 2800 watt 12 dvc starsound,with a 3000watt starsound monoblock 2 channel.Sub is at 2ohms parrallel,now the sound is burning the fuse,please help wat can be done to figure out possible solutions.

What size wire and how big is the fuse? I upgraded my wire size to 1 ga and my fuse cause i was having the same problem and it doesnt happen anymore. Im not sure which one fixed the problem but its fixed.

I suggest you start with your ground(s). However what size cable are you using and what size fuse did you use originally?

Also, what fuse is blowing?  In the amp?  In the power wire?  What size is it?

add a circuit breaker. if its the power wire fuse.

First, what fuse's are blowing. 2nd What size power wire?, 3rd Whats the fuse rating on each amp? , 4th how big is the fuse at the battery, 5th how big are the fuse's at your distrobution block.

Come back with those 5 answers and then we can get the ball rolling.

Hey guys im not the best of techncians but,i have 4g wire and the fuse is burning at the battery where i put the fuse holder and my fuse is fifty amps.

im gona be doing a opel fiesta,can anyone give me the size in cu.ft that the box shud be with two pioneer dvc 1000watts subs?

When you say it's burning a fues, is this happening the second you place the fuse in or is it after you play music for a while ? If it's happening the second you place the fuse it, you have a short to ground on the power wire. If it's happening after you play the music for a while, your 4 gauge wire is only rated up to 1400 RMS at 4 feet length. I imagine that the Civic's installation is in the trunk so your looking at at least 12 feet of power wire which should bring you up to a minimum of 2 gauge and you should be running approx. 200 amp circuit breaker.
