Do they make a "spinner" sound when they are in the tailpipe as well?

At high engine speeds the spring-loaded spinner is also pushed out of the exhaust tip, giving a visual indication of the revving engineFurthermore, the exhaust gases emanating from the tailpipe will be uniformly dispersed into the atmosphere.

I want this...NOW.  But how can I ride behind me so I can look at it spin?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Ironically, there are some good ideas in this post for a new product line.  'Course you have to read between the cynicism lines, but seriously look at what's selling these days.  Flashing LED's on a sub, chromed drivers, inverted design enclosures...

If these ideas are just floating around your heads then there are probably more in there too.  If someone decides to be industrious I'm fairly sure you could pull it off.  You should seriously think about, uh, selling out completely & making this happen.

If I had the money that's exactly what I'd do.  I am not above "selling out" and selling some wanna-be "pimp my ride" kid what they want so I can make a buck.  I'd just never own anything like that... and I'd have a hard time installing it and maintaining a straight face!

In all seriousness it isn't that hard to do.  And it wouldn't take that much start-up capital.  I know this from experience, not conjecture.  there is start-up $$ out there if you are creative & look.  All you need is one major retailer to pick you up and you're off & running.  And with the proliferation of Ebay you really don't need that.

Look at your assets - you guys know audio & cars, you know the market, you know what sells & what doesn't.  And you've probably got plenty of crazy ideas about products daily, ideas that make you say, "someone would make a fortune if they made ______."  This is your chance to be that someone.  That bling bling tail pipe spinner is a great example - 243,000 hits to that website.

I have, just not in car audio.  Currently practicing in another industry.  I really don't mean to preach, just trying to draw attn to the opportunity here.

I'm not ragging on you at all, boulderguy. I see what you are getting at, and was actually curious to know if you had done something like it, which you say you have. You brought up details that sounded like you either know about it or have done it.

So what is that you have done, outside of car audio?
