I live in a town, dont have any installers, few installers, last guy burned my onboard computer. :(
Could someone please provide the complete wiring diagrams with good details for 2000 Ford Explorer 4dr.
Will be installing alarm/remote starter before the cold Canadian winter hits.
Thank You,
Vic

According to wiring info, the following is the the positive for parking lights:
PURPLE / white in driver kick panel on a 2000 ford explorer.
I used a volt meter to check, I found two PURPLE / white wires, however both are running 12 volt through them, they are both positive, are they suppose to have 12 volts running through them even though parking light switch is off?
thanks

That did not work, are these wires suppose to have current flowing through them even though parking lights are not activated?

Hello
I need help with autopage 20 molex connector. None of the wires match the install manual for the 20 molex connector. Know I looked closely on the molex connector itself and it does number it from 1 to 20 but I dont want to ask you before I make a mistake of plugging it in. Let me show the current config of the wires.
__________M___________
20                         11
10                           1
-------------------
m is the clip that secures it, now according to the install manual
1) WHITE/ black
2) WHITE/ Violet
3) BLACK/ White
and so on, none of these wires match, even if I dont want to follow the wire code on the molex connector, I still can't match the wires according to the install manual. Should I just go with the diagram above.
Thank You.

If you guys click on the link below:
http://www.autopageusa.com/resources/RS855LCD_Install_rv72104.pdf
Check out page 6, on this page you guys guys could see that H10 is a 20 ping connector. On page 7 it details what the 20 pins connector with all the wires listed.
Now when I look at the 20 pin connector provided, it doesnt match the wiring coloring on page 7.
looking at the plastic plug that fits into the h10, it has the following numbers on it.
-----------
20-------11
11--------1
-----------
Now when I look at the wire coming out of pin 1, it doesn't match the color of the wire listed on page 7.
Now the question arises, should I follow the connector, or should I use the wire color, by the way these wires are all over the place, one would think wire 1 would follow with wire 2 according the color code listed through page 7.
This is the reason I am asking guys out there that have been installing these alarms.
I searched the forums and came across another post by a member with the same problem, no one ever responded to his post, so here I am. I have left him a private message to check if he found the answer.
Anyways I am looking forward to a response from Autopage installer.
Thanks
