So, I guess you haven't been through a Manitoba or Saskatchewan winter then......
Remote start is a don't even think twice purchase for most cars sold in our area....

although Gus is right... i would tend to suspect it's more of a liability issue...... we dont sue everyone and their grandmothers up here to the same degree...... the potential liability of something going wrong is still there and i suspect DEI doesnt need to lose their business through a few dozen lawsuits in the US.....

Does anyone have any contacts that might be interested in selling me a couple of these units. I contacted DEI in the UK (i am a registered dealer) but they can't help. Any information is much appreciated.

I have 2 left in stock, they are $40 CAD each.
I don't want to know what they'd end up costing once shipping and duty and what not's are factored in. But that gives you an idea.

Could you find out how much the shippping will be? I can see it being more than $10-$20 CAD. Duty will be 17.5% when it gets to the UK.
