i just realized you said 05... in 05 the cobalt was pk2 like the saturn ion... but now it is pk3+  if you check an 06 pursuit i am sure you will see that it has probably switched to pk3+ as well.   btw damn jeff i have not been on this site in forever.. good to see you are still hangin out helpin ppl.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to wait to see next time I get in a newer Cobalt or Pursuit.

Misterjimbo was correct.. I had everything hooked up properly, just minus the 556U. I added that in today and it worked perfectly.. thanks for the help

PKG7 does PK3+
you don't even have to wire into the ignition harness with this unit.

Will this piece also work for the 06 Solstice. I believe the ignition is the same, and it is a PK3+, just not sure about the data interface.

I believe the solstace/sky are build on the pursuit/ion chassis.
