Sorry to sound stupid...again I'm a good mechanic, but old school. Don't know what an RPN is, or where to find

Is there only a DEI Number or a series of numbers?

It's a Viper Remote...not aftermarket. On back it states... 800 phone number which just referred me back to the same dealers via my entering a zip code; 266 Rolling Codes and the FCC number you have already.

when you disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, the alarm goes of cause it is armed, most alarms you have to disarm it before you can do anything, that would explain the car not starting, cause when the car is armed the started kill will kick in that was installed\

this works on most alarms, but it seems like it won't on this one cause someone would of already told you this by now

but just try it just incase
