Hi I have two Pioneer TS-1500SPL subs in a box, I'm trying to use a  Alpine MRD-500 amp to power them but at low sounds there alright but when you turn it up the amp cuts out.  I was wondering if anyone knows if you can run those subs on that amp or is it too small for them and how I shoud wire them.

Thanks for you time!

Are the subs dual voice coil or single, and what is the resistance on them, dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm for example. This info is the most important here!

How is your gain set? What about your ground?
