where to run power thru firewall

i've looked and i can't seem too find a factory grommet/hole too run my 4ga power wire thru. can anyone tell me where too find a place in the firewall or will i just need too drill my own hole? it's a  93 jeep cherokee. thanks

if it is an automatic tranny then there should be a clutch plate right to the left of the brake mount. it should be held in with 2 bolts. take it out and drill the hole and put it back in.

No need to drill or unbolt anything.  I had a 93' Cherokee.  Say your facing the front of the car, there will be a hole for the main harness on the far right side of the firewall.  If you can't find it that way, then go in your drivers side,  take off the grey panel that covers the fuse panel and hood release assembly, look up and to the left on the firewall and you should see it.
