I want to install a remote start on a 1997 Mazda 626 w/Manual Transmission. Does anyone have a Tech sheet for it or can anyone tell my what color and where is the clutch bypass wire? Thanks in advance for your help

There is a BLACK/ blue at the clutch switch....connect your starter wire from your R/S directly to this wire for clutch bypass.

What type of unit are you installing? One that IS DESIGNED for a manual transmission (I hope)

wouldnt that byapss the clutch completly?  Wouldnt it be smarter to wire a 5wire relay off the status output of the R/s?

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

We should not loose sight of the most important issue.....

If the unit does not monitor the door pins and the hand brake it makes no sence to bypass the clutch. Read the history of this topic....rite here on this site.
