hey everyone, got a quick question. I installed fusion doorlocks(2 5wire sets) in a ford van. They were working fine for a few months but all of a sudden, when u hit the lock button, they lock and immediately unlock, within like 1 second. There were 2 modulars and I thought they went bad but that wasnt the case either. Just wondeirn if u guys have any ideas for me.
thanks

Where all of the doors closed when trying to lock them??? I know some Fords do not like to lock and stay locked when the door is opened..Just a thought....

no dont think that they have to be programed. They are very basic actuators. You just connect 2 of them together and give it a negative pulse and ur done. Like i said they were working for a while and all of a sudden they dont wanna work. Every now and then they will stay locked but everything i installed was aftermarket. Its just a plain van thats all. Just wonderin what u gusy think

One or both of them is no longer properly adjusted. The 5 wire ones will do that because it's the nature of central locking. Pull the panels and readjust.
