I installed the python 1400 into an 05 Colorado and everything worked fine.  After a few days the customer called me to tell me that it will not shift out of park when the remote start is used, when the key is used everything works fine.  I have not had a chance to look at it yet, but I cannot think of what might be causing this problem.  He said it worked fine for a few days and then it became hard to shift and now it won't shift at all.

If anyone has any idea what it might be, please help me out.  I would like to have some kind of information before I start to take it all out.  Thanks for the help.

Check and see if you disturbed the brake switch.Remember that you have to push the brake pedal to shift out of park.

and also he has to put the key into the ignition to take it out of remote star mode, you cannot get the shifter out of park untill the key goes into the key cylinder and is turned to ignition, then the brake gets depressed

try hooking up the second ignition wire

did you hook up the starter wire from the brain to the car starter wire?

this does not have to be done if you have properly bypassed the GM passlock system

you're kidding right? I hate it when I get my stomach tied in knots over something that was not something of my doing.
